Outfit #5: racerback top with a high neckline, a striped skirt, and converse sneakers. Despite it being officially autumn, it’s been pretty hot around here – mid-80’s and sunny. This is what I wear running all around on errands and even to take the boys to the playground.
Find the skirt here.
Thanks for playing along with all the Dress That Mama posts this week! I had a lot of fun doing it!
P.s. — Our episode of the show Unplugged Nation is airing this Saturday night! on FYI at 10/9 central. I’m so nervous! Hope you catch it!

You look gorgeous Lauren! Love this outfit!
Just watched Unplugged Nation and you were all great. It is nice to see what a good team your family is. Interesting how different the properties are and somewhat odd to me that someone would spend $1,000,000 on a house and not equip it with solar, wind, or geothermal power. It must have been a wonderful experience, although it would be entirely too remote for me. I need my people and community. What a great place to get away from everything for a bit, though.
So…..I watched your show! Actually, our whole family did and it was so much fun! Frank was so into it!!! We are not much of TV watchers (occasionally a movie together) these days, but it was so much fun to see YOU and Andrew and the boys! We were explaining to Jackson how we knew you and that he had even met Milo when he was a tiny baby and he was instantly hooked. The whole episode he kept yelling out, “there is Milo”, “there’s Oliver”, and my favorite…”aw, Emil is so cute” (when he kissed your eyes). I felt like we were reconnected in a strange way and I cried right along with you in the episode! What an amazing experience you guys must have had, I know that I for one, would definitely not be able to live in such a remote spot, however the beauty of the land and the solitude is very enticing. It is definitely food for thought, at least about striving to become more green and less wasteful. And, it was wonderful to see you again! I hope you are well!
Thanks t and Kathy! We need our people too, t. It’s a hard thing to negotiate!
And Kathy, your description of Jackson watching the show is so sweet! I miss you guys!
