It was a very circus-y weekend! Along with celebrating Andrew’s birthday, all three boys started circus classes. Emil has been waiting for the past year to join, eagerly watching from the sidelines as his brothers learn new tricks. When it came his turn, he jumped right in there, the smallest kid in class expending the most effort. He was humbled by the trapeze, which looks so easy, but is not so easy once you’re up there! He came out of class with a skip to his step, quite literally, and can’t wait to go back. We headed over to Union Station to catch the flying trapeze show and cheer on the older students. Clearly, these two are cut from the same cloth! And the big surprise? Milo and Oliver got to try it out for themselves! They both loved it and wanted to go again and again. Oh, boy.But Friday… oh, Friday.
I can’t even explain how lucky we feel to have friends as easy and witty as these two people! Also, generous and thoughtful. They took us out to dinner at Elaia, upstairs from Olio, and the food was so great, the drinks too tasty, the company out of this world, and before we knew it, it was 11 o’clock and who knows where the time went. It was a great night, much needed and much deserved for this guy who works so hard. So lucky, so grateful.
