We had a really, really nice week! The boys have been completely screen-free since last Saturday and I cut way back on my general internet use with positive results — I was a gardening fool and have the blisters to prove it (and a lovely new shade garden in our side yard that is so pretty!). I found that all the extra fresh air and productivity was just what I needed to get out of my funk. Looks like it’s time to make a few more rules for myself around my own screen time, ha!
Today I am off to Ohio with Oliver to visit my family. It feels like a very special trip since it’s just us two and we’re flying! It will be really nice to get a good chunk of one-on-one time with him; I’m curious about all that he will have to say! Oliver is excited too; he has been counting down the days for the past two weeks, no joke. I’m really excited to see my sister and her family, my mom, and my brother. It’s been too long…
