Wearing a dress that has withstood the many purges of clothing I’ve gone through over the past two years. Paired with a head scarf (℅ Everything Golden), Converse slide-ons, and bright red lipstick, I felt upbeat and springy last Saturday when I wore this out and about. We walked to the Loop for dinner and enjoyed live outdoor music even though it was a bit chilly in the shade (luckily I had a sweater and a very warm Oliver on my lap to keep me toasty!). It’s really starting to warm up around here, so maybe those twig legs will finally get some color! Have a lovely Wednesday!
You look like spring, Lauren. We still have snow on the ground here (Boston area) so it’s too early for me to think of just dresses (only dresses under thick wool long cardigans and big scarves at the moment). There was a very similar Land’s End linen dress a few years ago that I loved the look of on the hanger but not on me. I’m still thinking of it, though. Oh, and I like your bag a lot. I am considering converting all my totes to one strap hobo style because one strap is so much more comfortable, and I like the slouchy look.
No way! I wore my do-rag with my hair in a bun just yesterday while gardening. Granted, I looked more like Tupac and less elegant.
