As the saying goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…. can’t fool a fool again,” or something. In other words, I do wish I had done DC more justice while we lived there. Not only for the memories, but also for all 8 of you readers. You know, should you ever desire to know what “it” spots exist for a stay-at-home mom of two. So… I will try to devote some time and space to our special places around here. Mostly within walking distance, but also a few that are more easily accessible by car or metro. Place number one: Kaldi’s Coffee (there are several around here, but we most enjoy the atmosphere and people at the original DeMun location in Clayton).
Andrew’s birthday present parked on the far left
Ham. Though they don’t serve it here. All vegetarian, and the food is DELICIOUS!

Crumb bum
Be warned: the warm atmosphere and delicious sugary treats
may inspire unusual displays of generosity and tender feelings. Sigh.
Seriously.
And a bonus: this particular location is across from a seriously gorgeous green space, home to Concordia Seminary, and just a few short blocks away from a quaint little playground that is fenced in for safekeeping of young crummy bums…
… who may or may not try to bite you when you kiss them.
St. Louis really is wonderful! Glad you guys are enjoying it too!
Seriously? Aww, brothers gotta hug!
Ahh, static electricity and fall, what a great combination. Your precious boys make me smile.
How sweet!!
Lauren, all of these pictures are so great (as usual), but the one of older brother with arm around little brother leaning into him… oh my gosh, just way. too. cute.
Ohhhh. . .this post made me REALLY miss you guys. Love you.
I have to say, I’m in love with the picture of Milo smiling through the chair! superrrrrr cute kid!
