In the thick of gardening and growing things, this book is a great supplement to helping our boys understand the process of flowers turning to seeds, being carried or blown or harvested and planted again to make more plants. It is a fascinating book and covers all the bases, even mentioning the lovely mushroom and its spores at the very end! 
It has also inspired the decision for Oliver and Milo to get Venus Fly Trap plants of their own to understand the carnivorous plant and all its wonder. Milo has spent many afternoons gazing at the page above and asking questions for which I don’t always have the answers!
