This past weekend we made it back to the Missouri Botanical Gardens, one of my absolute favorite places in St. Louis. This was a special trip, though, because in the four years we have lived here, Andrew had never been! We finally made the trip as a whole family and we had such a great time. Plus, the iris garden was in full bloom!
Andrew found a snake skin, Emil crossed the big rope bridge all by himself, Milo crossed like a tree frog, and Oliver rallied his brothers to build something cool in the sand box.
Truly feel lucky to live in such an amazing city and to be able to explore it with my favorite people.
P.s.- Check out mini Milo and mini Oliver 4 years ago (in October 2010) and 2 years ago with all three boys. My how tiny they were!
First, requesting an update to your cliffhanger from last week.
Second, Whitaker jazz festival in the park is the best fun! Picnic dinners over live jazz while the kids run around on a hot weds evening. Let’s go together this summer.
We practically live in that place. We went in the rain on Sunday morning – I love the garden in the rain. We also saw they Lego exhibit in the Climatron – the girls loved it.
I love botanical gardens and old educational greenhouses. Well, and anything to do with cacti, rich? Looks awesome.
