I hope a wonderful weekend is in store for you!
Here are some links from around the web that I have found inspiring recently- enjoy!
Minka Sicklinger‘s work- her art is so amazing. And though I’ll probably keep ink off my own body, I think her tattoos are so interesting! Here’s an interview by Shoko Wanger if you’re curious.
Do you like tofu? I am trying out this recipe next week and will let you know how it goes…
Gardening is right around the corner! We’re going to build a few raised beds this year so our carrots aren’t so stumpy.
I’ve been pining over everything in Elizabeth Suzann‘s spring 2014 collection. I love how minimalist and simple it is.
And speaking of style, I’ve been searching for the perfect sandals for this spring and summer… though my beloved sandals from Madewell are still in one piece, they are pretty roughed-up. Sandals only seem to last one year for me- we walk everywhere, so I never spend very much on them. I’ve been eyeing these and these. Or… something I absolutely know will hold up longer than one or two seasons- the trusty old Birkenstock, in an updated version?
And finally, I can’t stop daydreaming about hot summer days to come. I’m hoping we’ll be able to visit a beach or lake this summer… we’ll see!
Oooh, pretty sandals! I’ve got the birkenstock “:yara” on my wishlist for this summer. And I am also dreaming of warmer weather! 🙂
Have a lovely weekend~

That tofu recipe sounds delicious – going to try it.
Made your bbq tofu recipe earlier this year (delicious, but such a mess when I was making it) – we had it with collard greens and black eye peas. It was a great combination.
Thanks for sharing.
I love when you post links, my internet time is so limited these days that’s it’s good to get a few highlights… and dream that someday I will actually wear sandals 🙂 Happy weekend.
I’ve had a lot of success with planting carrots in pots on the front porch. As long as the pots have a good ten or twelve inch depth to them, they should work fine. Plus, when they’re ready to eat, you can just dump them out, dirt and all, for easy harvesting.
I have to say the Birkenstocks are my favourite summer walking shoe. Hope summer hurries up for you, we’re wishing it would cool down soon here!
