On the last day of 2013, here’s a recap of some of the major things we did, some crazy things that happened, and just some of my favorites posts over this past year! I hope you have had a wonderful year… though ours started out rough (holy moly was January a doozy for us!), it has been an amazing, solid year with such good memories. Life sure is good.
One year ago: Lots of tomfoolery in Grandma’s snowy woods!
Almost exactly one year ago: Oliver getting stitched up by his grandparents on the kitchen counter…
And my own stitches only a week later (by the way, it’s healed quite nicely!)
A little over a year ago: a video of Oliver trying to button his jammies and Milo trying to coach him along- so sweet!
Remember when I was accused of child abuse? Yikes!
A lovely spring weekend and 6 years of marriage.
On fatherhood these days.
Milo’s stitches.
Milo’s last day of preschool.
Updating our kitchen.
Expanding our garden!
Closet tour.
The car accident.
A guest post over at Cinnamon Girl about the artwork in our home.
If we had 7 kids…
Remember when Emil dove into the fish pond… and I had to dive in after him?
One of the best nights of my life!
Paris with my lovie!
Milo turns 6… and a video.
A beautiful October weekend.
A how-to on paring down your wardrobe.
The best friends’ trip to the cabin in the Ozarks.
Milo’s first circus performance!
Happy New Year to you. I have honestly enjoyed blogging and getting to know many of you from afar and reading your thoughts and opinions and wishes. I wish all the best- joy and love and happiness and peace for you in the coming year!
I remember so much of this and I have laughed and cried here on your blog. It’s a wonderful space and I look forward to returning often in 2014.
xoxoxo
It has been such an amazing year! I hope the next one is as awesome and slightly less accident-laden for you guys 😉 Hugs to you and yours.
Aw, that is such a nice thing to hear, Danielle! That just fills my heart up!
And Milla, YES! Let’s hope for fewer stitches and a little less drama this year! I have a good feeling about 2014!
How was that video of Milo and Oliver so long ago?! Feels like I just watched that. It has been a pleasure keeping up with you guys the past few years. Friends from afar, it’s fun.
Happy 2014, may it be a good one!
You all did have quite the full year, but handled everything that came your way so gracefully. You live your life in such a lovely way and it’s a beautiful thing to witness from a distance. Thank you for sharing with us all. Here’s to another full year, but with even more breathtaking moments of the joy variety and less of those other sorts.
