Holy moly did we have a wet Halloween! It has been raining off and on all week, actually. From the Monday morning rainy kindergarten pumpkin patch field trip to sitting huddled under a blanket on the front porch dodging gusts of rainy wind that blew through the muslin spider webs hanging off our roof, we have been getting Halloween out of our systems! 
Luckily the weekend looks nice and relatively uneventful. Above are a few pictures from Oliver’s preschool celebration. He was the sweetest big brother to Emil, giving him kisses and hugs, introducing him to his friends, holding his hand during the whole parade, and leading him around the classroom to different activities (the train table and climber were Emil’s favorites, before he choked on a pumpkin seed and vomited all over the classroom floor. Ah, well. At least he didn’t choke to death!).

Emil really likes to live dangerously. Is your hair completely gray from that cutie-patootie yet?
We got that huge rainstorm last night. 70 mile per hour winds, tornado watches, and tons of rain. (Most of Indiana is still completely waterlogged.) So we get to do our trick-or-treating tonight and then I can shout in relief, “IT’S OVER!”
