Ah, finally a wonderfully relaxing weekend! We got through with minimal plans and enjoyed a lot of hanging out. The shadows have definitely changed, and despite two very hot days, Labor Day was nice and normal and not so humid. A great preview of fall. We are all ready for that, wouldn’t you say?
And because of the hot streak, our trees have let down quite a few early leaves. It has been looking like fall in our front yard lately. So… more yard work!
There was plenty of down time with papa, too, which was much-needed after this stint of summer weekend absences. Let me tell you, that man is a huge factor in the equation that is our family. Without him we just don’t run as smoothly, and no one is as happy. I’ll swallow my pride and say that I probably can’t do this all by myself. It’s a tremendous job, raising a family.
My sleep meter is back to full, and I feel much less stressed. Happy September to you, and bring on fall!
Glad your sleep meter is full again! I agree with you that running the house with one parent missing is tough on everyone. Sounds like you guys had a great family weekend. 🙂
