“A portrait of my children once a week, every week, in 2013”
Oliver: Gave up naps long ago, but still enjoys lying down with mama every day
Emil: Rocking in the 100-year-old rocking chair his great grandfather was rocked in as a baby
Milo: Pink-faced and sweaty, taking a break from riding his bike to jump into the leaf pile his papa raked up– and no, it’s not fall here yet, but has been so hot the trees are giving up their leaves early

Oh the summer just went too quickly! It is still hot over here, but I haven’t gotten to post or read your posts in a while — some things:
1. Love the pie. My word that looks delicious. I might try something with apples and strawberries. Stay tuned…
2. How much fun balloons can be (and not too!) π π
3. We got two tomatoes and four peppers from our garden box this year. It was dismal. Between travels, and are inability to keep up with what needs to be done with the garden, we just didn’t get to the tomatoes before the squirrels did, so we hardly enjoyed any. However, we are coming back ready next summer. I want a perfect tomato sandwich.
P.S. We bought a fire pit for our yet to be built patio. I can’t wait to make smores already! π π Stay tuned on that one too…
These are cute! Love the different expressions!
