“A portrait of my children once a week, every week, in 2013”
Emil: celebrating his second birthday
Milo: looking like the smug kindergartener that he is
Oliver: enjoying more alone time with mama while Milo is a school and Emil naps
*As usual, linking up with the lovely Jodi and her 52 portrait series*
More great photos of the handsome lot! Emil looks so much like Andrew’s Mother’s family in this one. Milo is incredibly mature looking and precocious with a blend of you and Andrew, and Oliver looks so much like his Great Grandmother Erickson’s side of the family! What an incredible and beautiful blending these boys have in their own right! It’s great to see how they are growing and changing with every week that passes.
Thanks, Mom! I agree- it is an honor to witness it.
The look of delight on Emil’s face is just beautiful. Great shots xx
Hahhaha Giant Cupcake! Love these little shots of life at your neck of the woods.
Emil looks so excited about that cupcake (and who wouldn’t be?!). All great shots.
They are all so handsome! I think Milo looks a little like Uncle Jon in this picture π
Emil is two, Milo is in kindergarten and Oliver is maturing! π How the time does fly!!
We’ve tried (in desperation) to make cleaning-up time fun but man, can that be a challenge! Sometimes they end of playing with everything again instead of putting it away or they just take so looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnng. Sometimes we give assignments; “Augie you clean up all the legos; Liam, you clean up the dress up clothes.” That works pretty well because then they race each other. π
Your corner of the world is sweet as always.
p.s. I know you’re anti-smart phone but I sure do wish you were Instagram!! Someday?….

Thanks, Cortnie! And yes, ha! I am definitely leaning toward wanting a smart phone these days. I’m sure it is inevitable! π
