Lauren weathered a tough labor and delivered Oliver John Knight early this morning, while Milo peacefully slept through all of the jungle noises. Oliver’s healthy and Lauren is getting some well-deserved rest and recovery.
Milo, who had plenty of rest last night, is extremely excited and, after a few hours of poking and prodding the new addition (and saying “I love NewBaby”), recently left for the playground with good friend Nora so we can catch up on a little sleep. Thank you Mary for being on guard for Milo during the night, taking some great photos, and being a part of one of the best moments of our lives.

We are so excited! He is so darling already! We’re just marveling over the pics (and how great Lauren looks after crazy labor!). Can’t wait to meet Oliver (great choice of name by the way)!
