Back outside this week, despite flurries of snow that covered the ground an hour after we took these photos (winter, it’s been fun, but I think it’s time we see other people). Today: tomboy style. Dress like a dude (with tighter pants, in this case), add lipstick, done. And though lately I have been yearning for warm breezy weather that makes dress and skirt-wearing so freeing, what could be easier than throwing on jeans and a button-down?
Chambray shirt: JCrew (find several great options at Madewell). I wear mine in all seasons- so versatile!
Vintage camera bag: estate sale find
Legging jeans: Pilcro
Shoes: Rachel Comey
Happy Wednesday! I hope spring is finding you somewhere!
I love this outfit. You wear it so well, too. I love your hair! You are always so cute.
Love this look. I’m in need of a new chambray shirt as the one I had (and donated to Good Will) was way too boxy and not worth trying to tailor.
I’m hoping that when we return to Boston from our vacation in still-very-wintery-Canada that there is warmth in the air and buds on the trees. Fingers crossed, right?! XO.
You seriously have the best shoe collection. I love these and you look great as always.
I pretty much wore this outfit today (minus those awesome shoes), but didn’t look nearly as cute! Maybe because my clothes were covered in gross dried up yogurt and I didn’t bother changing (it was a stay at home day). =) Very cute!
wow everything about this outfit is perfect!!
First of all, those legs! You can’t buy those that’s for sure!
And the shoes ain’t bad either.
xo

You are the cutest ever. The end.
Love the tomboy look! I’m going to recommend that you check out http://www.wearandrogyny.com if you like men’s shirts, but can’t ever find ones that fit right. I have one and the fabric and detailing are awesome, plus they walk the line between a sloppy man’s shirt and a too slim-fitting woman’s shirt. Totally perfect with skinny jeans or leggings.
so inspiring! I’m so not a tomboy, but this I could see myself rocking.
