I had the most amazing time with my friend Ingrid last night. We went out to dinner, drank wine, and talked loudly and freely and laughed until I think the people at the table next to us wanted to strangle us. And of course, we were having way too much fun to take any worthwhile pictures (our half-ass attempt at one or two turned out blurry and terrible). But know this: there is nothing like a really good friend. Nothing.
I hope this weekend finds you well, with plenty of good memories from friends who just get you. And welcome, February! May you bring far less crappiness than your sister January! She sucked.
I’m so glad you had a great time out! So true about the importance of a good friend.
Nice upward planking, Emil. 🙂
Happy weekend! sometimes it’s nice to to have the pressure not to have to take photos!
Woo-hoo! I’m so jealous! I need that! Especially the wine part. Have a great weekend.
Oh, man, Annie. It was fun, but I am feeling the “wine part” today! It was worth it, though! 🙂
February has to be better than January. IT HAS TO BE. Also, if you put your kids in fleece and they roll around on the floor like that, they kind of Swiffer it clean for you. Then you just change their clothes and call it wonderful. (Although your floors look rather clean, so maybe you already do that.)
I could not agree more on the good friend AND on January. January, you sucked. Cheers to a great February!
Amen to good friends!
So happy you had a great time out with your friend! The value of a good friend can’t be overstated. And yes, welcome February!
Wine + Good Friends = a perfect night!!
Glad you got to do that!
