A portrait of my children once a week, every week, in 2013
Milo: Acting angry instead of sad (after he hurt himself)
Oliver: Wanted to lie down on the deck just like Milo
Emil: Happy to be outside on one of two warm days in January (we went from 74 to 33 in 24 hours!)
P.S.– Milo couldn’t stay mad for long…
Wow this is too cute! I love the happiness update x
Those are some good faces you’ve got.
Ah! The light! You found it and the boys look so good in it. Come oooooon, spring!
Oh, tee shirts! Yay! Wasn’t that mini Midwestern heat wave lovely? (If only it could have lasted until spring.)
I love this project and wish I’d gotten on board with it at the beginning of the year. Maybe I’ll join in late, because these updates are so fun.
Also, it’s still crazy to me how people with the same parents can look so completely different from one another. Yet similar at the same time.
You totally should join, Allison! I am perpetually a week behind because I started a week late, but I still love doing the project.
Also, I know what you mean about Oliver and Milo looking so different from each other. I mean, they don’t even look like cousins! It’s insane. And then there are families where all the kids look nearly identical. Genes are amazing.
Even though Milo was acting, I love the contrast between his and Oliver’s portrait – so cute!

These are great, such amazing faces and I love the wood background. I’m a lifelong brunette and not always a fan of highlighted hair… And then I see a child with those gorgeous layers of light and dark and I’m so envious. They’ve all got some great hair actually!
aww these are GREAT!
oh my your children are GORGEOUS!!
