Another go-to mama uniform: a short-sleeved black dress under a long-sleeved black shirt Β + black tights with a graphic design for interest. Not that exciting, but super comfortable and it beats jeans and a tee shirt/sweater when layers are necessary in the cold cold winter. Plus, add a favorite necklace and some great clogs, and the details stand out. One of these days I will buy a really nice leather bag… like this beautiful thing (but I do need handles or straps). Or this… or this one! But for now, a straw bag is doing the trick.
Maxi Dress: Anthropologie (an oldie, but find similar one here)
Black long-sleeved tee: AG (similar here)
Tights: Hansel From Basel (on sale!) — I also love these pindot tights!
Shoes: Rachel Comey (on sale!)
Circle necklace: Anthropologie (3 years ago)
Looking forward to one of my best friend’s birthdays tomorrow. We are going out for a night on the town (okay, just dinner) and I can’t wait! Hope you have a great Wednesday!
Love your style. Classic, feminine, and still totally functional as a mama to little ones! Seriously. Makes me want to change out of these leggings and Craig’s flannel. π π π
Totally love your outfit and your shoes are beautiful π

Emily, thank you! And I highly recommend the shoes. Though they are expensive, they will last forever they are so well-made!
Love it! Simple but still really fun. I keep trying and trying to braid my hair like that and it never looks right.
