There’s one thing in our garden that continues to thrive. And so, we continue to eat it.
Swiss chard, you continue to give. The colors in this plant are amazing. If neon is in, then chard is the ultimate current food.

So beautiful! Gotta love that chard. I wonder how long it will last for you! Have you tried wrapping the chard around a piece of fish and baking it? It’s SO good. Let me know if you want to try it and want some how-tos!
such rich color to those leaves! i’m starting my own small garden in my yard where nothing has previously thrived haha a little nervous, but hope to have gorgeous vegetables growing there eventually!
Swiss chard stalks never cease to amaze me! That’s awesome that it’s still abundant in your garden – I’ll be making your recipe sometime!

Your chard bounty has convinced me that it will definitely be planted in my garden next year. So awesome that you’re still eating from it! Our basil plants went crazy and we just had the Great Basil Harvest of 2012, and made a mother ton of pesto, of course. And also some basil sugar, which I’ve been using on stuff like waffles instead of maple syrup. Fancehhhh!
