Milo has learned many new commands, thanks to Andrew’s toddler boot-camp program. He also knows almost all of his body parts, including his knees and his “hiney,” as Milo calls it. I didn’t get on film Milo’s new eye blinks (when you tell him to close his eyes), his spinning around in a circle, falling down on command, or new saying “Aw, nuts.” Thanks again to Andrew for that last one. It is too cute to hear him say it. I’m still trying to figure out how to film him without his knowledge so he doesn’t come running over to the camera to see himself. Until then… enjoy. This is the best we could do! Oh, and please note his clothing strewn about on the kitchen floor. He took everything off himself.
The weather was still beautiful up until yesterday, when high winds brought more appropriate mid-February temperatures back. But until then, Milo and I spent every day all day outside. I took him to the zoo, which during a weekday is just about empty, so we had the run of the place. Milo’s favorites were the gorillas (especially the new 1-month old baby girl gorilla who appeared to wave at Milo from the gorilla yard while on her mommy’s lap), hippopotamus, elephants, lion, and all the farm animals (especially the cow for some reason) in the children’s petting zoo area.
Can’t wait for the weather to warm up for good! Playing outside is so much more fun!
Great push-ups…little Hercules has to start sometime!
