Good Night, Billy Goat

Hopefully I don’t jinx anything by officially documenting this… but Milo has been sleeping through the night! Finally, after almost 14 months of nighttime awakenings, he goes to bed at 7pm and sleeps until 7:30am! Well, he really wakes up at 6am, but goes back to sleep until 7:30. But I’m not complaining! He is also down to one nap a day, which makes planning fun outings much easier. It is obviously more exhausting to chase after him and keep him entertained/occupied for an extra 1 1/2 hours during the day…. but it’s a fun exhausting.

In other news, Milo decided that it is time to stop eating like a slob:
And start eating like a gentleman:

Well, a gentleman with a bib and yogurt all over his face.

He has also taken a liking to his Halloween costume….

Whoops, wrong picture.

Really, it wasn’t that bad. As soon as he forgot that the headpiece existed, that is. We took Milo to an outdoor costume party on Saturday morning, only to have it rained out. So we headed over to the local bookstore, Politics and Prose, where Milo also attends story hour every Monday.

Just another billy goat browsing the bookshelves

And reading about those pesky humans

Let’s hope this billy goat continues his magical sleepy spell.

  1. That costume is awesome…especially since he wore it to the library. I particularly like the whiskers, hey, he has a better goatee than his Uncle Billy ad Uncle Ryan combined!
