The big boys. The cousins. The cool kids.

Yikes. At this rate, I will still be blogging about December in February. We’ll get through this. Stick with me. I promise things are actually happening. But life keeps getting in the way of these memories! Yeesh.

So where were we? My mom’s house. Well, she hosted yet another wonderful delicious feast for the entire family. And as with last year’s celebration, it was a whirlwind of fun and chaos and noise and it all went by so so fast.

This year, Uncle Jon was quite a hit while roughing up the wee ones a bit. Which lasted a whole five minutes before there were tears from two out of three of my boys (not Jon’s fault).

Tired, cranky baby. Kind, patient Uncle.

And my lovely sister Krista who consistently out-crafts us all with her creative inventions (she made the coolest ornaments out of Sculpty this year, and is seen here just sewing away by the fire. A real-life Martha Stewart. You know, without the record).

And there’s really not much more to say about that. Other than, thank you, Mom, for hosting us all yet again. I know we all appreciated everything you did to prepare and make this celebration special for all the wee lads. And thank you, family, for being quirky and funny and crazy. I love you.

Merry Everything.
