When it comes to matters of faith, we are clearly equal opportunity. That’s a menorah on Oliver’s shirt.
Actually, on Milo’s last day of school before holiday break, he returned home with not one but two sparkly menorah stickers. He often returns from school having conned some poor helpless adult into giving him two of something (two birthday goodie bags, two bendy alien toys, two skeleton pencils, etc.); one for him, the other for his very-important-little-brother. Today, menorahs.
They’re saying “JEWISH!”
Milo walked in and immediately decorated his little brother, saying, “Here, Oliver! Now you can trick everyone into thinking you’re Jewish! Ah, hahahahahahaha!” To which Oliver responded, “JEWISH!”
So proud.
Happy Holidays Hanukkah!
L’chaim!!!!
Oy vey! (That was from Dave.)
This had me cracking up.
“Shalom!” says this Jewish mama.
Our Hannuka song every night? “This little light of mine.” Not exactly from the Old Testament, but kinda makes sense.
Miss you.
