Last week, Andrew went out of town for a conference in Philadelphia… so I begged my mom to come out and help me with the crumb bums (alright, I didn’t have to beg of course, she was more than happy to come- she finally got to meet her sixth grandson, after all!). And though it was a CRAZY weekend as the boys (mainly Milo) were all jacked up the entire time because hello, their grandma was here!!!! we had a great time and I am hoping that she has made a full recovery.
Oliver took it pretty hard when “Gran-naw” left. He said good-bye to her pretty nonchalantly, then an hour later asked where she was. When I reminded him that she had left, he was all, “WHAT? Where the heck is Gran-naw?” while crying and carrying on. You know, two-year-olds. Like riding a freakin’ roller coaster.
He’s got a ticket to ride…
But he don’t care.
Thanks, Mom. It was real. We love you.
I love you, too! I had a wonderful time with you and the boys. Looking forward to seeing you during the holidays!
So nice that you got to all be together (and you had some extra help!) 🙂
