This photo was taken 3 years ago, and it makes me ache just remembering how little and pudgy and sweet these three were. I long to go back in time just for an hour or two to feel the weight of their little bodies in my arms… oh, how fleeting it all is! And of course, a wonderful reminder to enjoy them as they are, every day.
Have a wonderful weekend.
They are so cute♥♥

Your boys have grown so much, but I feel like you’re still on the cusp of that growth explosion. We’re in the middle of it, and I feel like I can see them growing each day. The girls just had their annual checkup last week and the little one grew 3.5 inches in one year!! Their limbs are everywhere – across beds and couches and chairs and my lap.
I’ve always had to wake up my youngest – she’d sleep til 8:30 or 9 every day if we’d let her. I pick her up and hold her in my lap on the couch in her room for at least five minutes before I slowly start this ritual of helping her get dressed. It’s my favorite part of the day because it lets me appreciate the fact that she’s on a different schedule than my typical busy one. But her legs! They are everywhere. She looks like a frog now, with her knees up at her chin on either side of me so that she can rest against my shoulder for a few minutes. I keep teasing her about running out of space to do this, but she tells me “NEVER!” so we’ll find a way to make it work!
I knew this was a risk in marrying someone who is six-and-a-half feet tall, but good gracious, I can’t keep my children in long pants (or shoes).
This made me burst into sobs. Good ones, I think. But still sobs.
