Instead of emailing everyone separately, I will answer the requests for MORE PICTURES! of the house here (sorry they are different sizes, don’t ask me why or how that happened):
Dining Room Looking into Living Room
Kitchen with Sliding Glass Doors to Back Deck
Back Deck with Garden & Woods Behind
(Woods lead to Rock Creek Park, Zoo, etc.)
(I know, lovely color)
The great thing is, we don’t have nearly as much stuff as the current homeowners… so the house will look even bigger when we’re living there! Also, there’s a small garage in the back, but since street parking is very easy here, we will probably turn it into a little cottage/office for Andrew. Or, as he would call it, his “man cave.”
Inspection is Saturday. Wish us luck!
Wow Lauren and Andrew! Congrats on the house! It’s beautiful! I’m sure everything will go smoothly and you’ll be moved in, in no time… then you can start on #2!
Spectacular!!

I love it! So much space which is key since the little man is so mobile these days. Keep us updated with the move. Congratulations!
It is so incredibly gorgeous! Try finding a space like that in Capitol Hill. No way.
Anyhow, we’re so excited for you all. Count us in for helping you to paint sometime soon.
Why couldn’t you guys moved a year earlier…we would have been 2 miles apart. I love the house, that is a great find. It is wonderful to find something great when you were looking at very different homes. It just works. Good luck on the home inspection and closing. Way to make Crystal work for her money!
Hey! What’s wrong with Lavender? It’s the new beige! And you’re right, this basment is too nice to let Andrew take it over so garage + mini fridge + ratty lazyboy chair = mancave (orange shag carpeting and pool table optional)
When is MTV coming to your new house to film the next episode of CRIBS? You better make sure you stock your fridge with plenty of Cristal before they come!
