Smiles

Today.

Emil smiled at me for the first time. A real smile prompted by cooing and baby talk and me being up in his face. But I listened for the telltale gas sound that usually follows his smiles, and none! It was a real social smile, I’m convinced! So I grabbed the camera of course, but having that thing in a baby’s face will only draw looks of curiosity. So that’s pretty much what you get for now.

And more smiles come from medium brother who invented a GREAT game called “stack toys on the baby.” But what’s not to smile about? Beautiful fall weather calls for…
